I have a 1951 Ford 8�n tractor that I�ve done lots of work on. My engine is perfect but I have been considering doing a swap to the Flathead V8. We have an old grain truck with a lightly used flathead V8 that probably is never gonna run grain again. Can anyone with experience give me some info on if it�s a good swap, the main concerns are it�s not a show tractor it�s gonna be working daily and I don�t wanna screw up my transmission or rear end. I would also like to know if I need a conversion kit. Please leave some information on whether it would be a good swap or not please because I honestly don�t know.
