Yanmar was in a lawsuit back in the 1980's or 1990's over some safety issues on the grey market Yanmar tractors so even today a Yanmar dealer isn't suppose to sell parts to a customer with a grey market tractor,of course Hoye Tractor has more Yanmar parts than most dealers and they sell to the grey market tractors.At any rate nothing illegal about it.Also individuals can get exemptions to import vehicles and tractors that don't meet standards for companies to import them.I had a UTB 800 brought over from Europe by an individual, only one I could find in North America.
