A buddy of mine, "Glen", now deceased, had an old mutt dog named "Sherman". His wife, "Lou" had a little toy poodle named "Babbett".
One day Lou gave Babbett a bath, put a ribbon around her neck, and sat her outside to finish drying off. Sherman walked up, sniffed her over, and raised a hind leg and peed all over her. Glen about rolled across the yard laughing, and Lou was about to kill him and Sherman, both.
Glen died in his sleep one night, and the next morning when Lou called the authorities, Sherman wouldn't let anyone in the bedroom with Glen. It took them a half hour to get the dog out of the room before they could tend to Glen.
