some whistles were made for specific pressures. they are usually marked if they are around the valve area or the Nut part.Some others are not pressure specific, but most are adjustable if you take off the top nut or final, you can look and see how to make the bell part go up or down. You can put a ball valve inline with a gauge hooked up to a T fitting and try the whistle at an infinate pressure range. Run full pressure to the valve and then have the gauge on the down wind side of the valve and have the whistle hooked up there also.adjust the valve to where the whistle sounds nice and note the air pressure on the gauge.If it doesn't sound good adjust it. There you go!
