Yes, I think they did put a few in medium duty,set up with the 366/427 style heads etc. Did you know that they also put 427s in cars-set up like the 454. They even had some with alum. heads, I think they were put in corvettes. That was in the late 60's. And all of the 366/427/427highper/and 454hp and truck have sodium valves plus moly rings. Car engines have maybe 1 chome ring and one castiron exc. for high performance engines in the muscle cars had moly. But then they were 10-1 comp.or more, and were putting out a hp. per cube and that was stock-factory!
