I disagree Buck. I think the move to computerized electronics and all the solid state stuff that goes with it has ended involvement of the backyard mechanic in the tractor business. If something electronic goes wrong now with our old stuff, well I think many of us could track it down (with help from the YT forum guys), but that wouldn't be the case with the new stuff. Can you imagine the cost of replacing some computer module in 2050 on a 2001 tractor? Just my 2 cents worth.
