Tractor tires

I don't want to be critical here, just need info for my own good. I have been noticing some really nicely painted and restored tractors on this website. However, in many cases, the tires are badly worn or dirty, particularly the rear ones. My question is this...is it preferable to have original tires, regardless of condition? Or do people try to "cheap out" and just use the old tires? In many cases, new tires would sure make the tractors look much better. Thanks for your input...Greg AZ
