When the government steals my money to support your electric car, that is not a capitalist society. That is communism. If you think you are saving the world with your dirty battery, and that makes you happy, then good for you. Just don't steal my money to do it with. It is a proven fact that it takes more fuel to generate electricity to charge a battery and then use that energy to run a car than it would take to run the car directly with a engine. Don't believe me? Ask an honest engineer or buy some engineer books and find out for yourself. The only way electric cars can save fuel is with the use of solar or wind energy.
