After reading your re re-post I am not sure if you ment to put it under my re-post or if you ment to simply add your own re-post? I was just simply adding my 2 cents worth as well. However I do believe the quality and simplicity (easy to work on) of our modern day equipment has gone down hill compared to earlier equipment. We do have the technology to build longer lasting, simpler to work on machines but it is not getting used. That was my main point. Remanufacturing something from the past I don't believe would go over either. Previous equipment is missing to many modern day features. I think you would experience low sells right off the start becuase of that. I think building something easy to work on but also long lasting and has new features would sell like hot cakes but you would have to leave room for upgrading technology in your prototype and would have to plan on a relatively long production span. Most parts would have to be non-discontinued or replaced with upgraded interchangeable parts. After many years your buisness would be mainly in parts untill your product became obsalete which is why you would have to leave room for future upgrading.
