If some tractor manufacturer starts to make new "old tractors", isn't it possible that they use the same poor quality in these as they do in the tractors today? That means that the tractor has to be replaced in 15-20 years as it was stated earlier in this thread. Another thing that comes in my mind is that who has the legal rights to make the tractors. Many companies have disappeared or merged with others. So it isnt clear who owns the plans for a particular tractor. There are also the safety regulations that the new tractors will have to fill. After that they won't look the same as the old ones and that was the whole idea in the first place. They could as well desing a new model that has the same simplicity that we're after and fill the safety regulations at the same time. But aren't they making similar small tractors already? Also the price would be high. Who wants to buy an expensive low-powered small tractor nowadays? And isn't the age one of the things that we appreciate in old tractors? If they made the exact copy of some old tractor it wouldn't be the same. Here's my 0.02� worth.
