Apparently you are not familiar with Black Gumbo. A tractor rated for 3 bottom plow in clay or sand will die trying that in Gumbo. I know the MM used to pull 5 bottom in sand in the Panhandle. I know the IH would walk it easily there too. Yeah I have owned Deeres, had a 2840 and a 3020, way, way overrated. I got tired of having to take out loans to buy parts for the green weenies. I inherited the MM but my choice is IH Red from now on.
