Yes I have seen a Deere Run 15,000 hours, we've got a 64 3020 with more than that. I also know that you are compairing smaller deeres to your big 806. Run a Diesel 4020 set up with good pulling 18.4x38 tires, against your 806, and if the power doesn't change your mind than the more comfortable ride will. I like I-H tractors also, and I like the Torque Amplifier, but for your type of plowing, you'd be better off with something alittle newer, and bigger, like a IH 966, or 1066. They are cheap, for what you get, usually a good one can be gotten for less than 10,000, compaired to a Deere 4320, or 4620, at upwards of 15,000, plus they have loads of power, and allow you to really make the dirt roll. There's nothing wrong with the 806's, I just like alittle more displacement in my 6 cylinder engines. Later on Greg H.
