A couple of months ago I wrote in build plans to build a shop and pertain a building permit. Where I live I have learned a lot about my County and there building codes plus permits. I thought it was simple find a person that draws up shop I wanted and submit it for a permit. Find a contractor to build it. Wrong again. need to have a soil report on the soil of my property which is 500.00 and a flood map for the property to let them know I am not in a 120 year flood zone area. That ran another 400.00 and then to pay to get the blue prints adjusted to the way they want it. Yes I got the build permit after three thousand dollars. the contractor will start next month (he say's). the 32 by 36 foot shop may be on it's way. Yes I am excited about it but the price tag we can say OUCH on it.
