I would say your using a hydraulic motor setup that is not made for a closed center hydraulic system. So your over heating the hydraulic oil. You did not say whether you have a Quad range or power shift tractor. I am assuming a Quad range since your talking about a clutch. The perma clutch would NOT slip due to hot hydraulic oil. It uses a spring applied pressure plate and that is just cooled/lubricated with the hydraulic oil. Now the Hi-Lo cutch pack in front of the Quad range could be effected by hot oil or low pressure. This would make your tractor not pull itself. I will tell you if you due this much you will be repairing that clutch pack.
You need to fix or change what ever is causing the high pressure leak or incorrect hydraulic oil flow so the oil does not over heat.
