Well my hydraulic hose came in today and I tried the vacuum trick to change it on my Massey. Absolutely not one drop of oil came out. But I had buckets at the ready in case it didn't work. Popped the old hose off, put the new one on, topped off the oil (lost some while sitting waiting for the part) and we were good to go in 10 minutes.
