I don't think that tractor would damage any compentent trailer, due to weight concentration during loading or unloading. Rent a car-hauler first, if you want to see how well (or poorly) loading and unloading can go. As the other writer said, using small hills and embankments can make tractor unloading a breeze - it can be tough without them. If you're going to frequently load/unload, you may want to make some custom ramps that are longer. It sounds like you are buying enough trailer, though - consider using a 3/4 ton truck to tow it, if there are lots of hills or elevation in your area.
