Around here old trailers are not worth much unless they are realy something. Home made trailers are all over the place. Some were built right and others not so much and unless you were there when it was built or actauly built it there is no good way of knowing. Trailer house axles hurt its value as the 14.5 rims and tires are getting harder to find. Also the rims are difficult at best to balance. Also mobile home frames and camper frames are NOT as heavy built as everybody thinks. They are just strong enough to pull the house down the road a few times. Also alot of the strength is in the house its self. Remove that from the frame and you lost half its strength.
