Well...I got a little more info on the engine. I found a Perkins dealer here in New Jersey. I gave them the engine number and they called Perkins here in the US. They referred them to Perkins in England who made me confirm the engine number. It turns out that this engine was made in a factory "somewhere in the Spain area" and not in a normal Perkins factory. Possibly a situation where the design was licensed out to another manufacturer? Either way Perkins in the UK had no info on the engine and no contact info for who might be the original manufacturer. Looks like its time to custom build a pan. So much for doing things the easy way!! lol
