There was a marathon of medical shows on the other day that was interesting as well as a little scary. One of them was about a disease called Familial Fatal Insomnia. It's caused by a prion like CWD,mad cow,scrappies and things like that are. Not caused by a virus or bacteria,so once you have it,there's no cure. You're done for. So far,it's not that easily passed on,but something like a prion caused pandemic could wreak havoc and have long legs as far as carrying on for generations to come.
