I have a Ford 9n that's been converted to 12 volt. I've been having problems with getting it started. I have charged the battery and can start it when I put a screw drive across the starter switch relay. But why doesn't that starter switch work? I just replaced it. Funny thing too, when I check voltage from positive battery terminal to the starter cable u get a reading of 12.48 volts. When I check the battery side cable the starter switch it reads zero. Why isn't the starter turning over it reads that it's getting 12.48volts to it?
