Dealing with people!!! tire kickers I guess!! We have some items for sale (logging related) I will only take calls (wont do text or email) We get lots of calls and almost the first thing the guy does is start negotiating price! Yep sight unseen, I stop them and tell them I am not doing negotiation until there here looking at it. Most of the time that is the end of the call. What I don't get is why would some one make offers sight unseen (they may not want the item when they look at it) Was wondering if I should tell them half price to see if they would actually come??? Next up if they offer you $10000 instead of $15000 over the phone will they honor it? I just don't get it as I will not do this. I will make an offer if I am there and want the item. Our price is clearly posted in the add too. Thanks for an thoughts, rant over.
