I think I went to the same school you did, and feel the same way about it. "College" gets blamed for wrecking a lot on here. College didn't do that... poor decisions did. A quote from the blackboard in Riley Robb Hall- "YOu can teach a fool, but you can't make him think."
I never had a class that taught "go buy a lot of big iron." They did teach us how to analyze investments, create cash flow projections, and a lot of soft skills like people management,etc. I use that stuff on a daily basis.
ANd best of all, I met a lot of people that are now successful in agriculture throughout the US. It's amazing how many of them are leaders today. Very few went home and "failed." Some went home to some bad situations, but those would have been bad situations if they skipped school, too.
