dopp creek........In 1958, I'd just graduated from college witha FCC 1st Class License, Rex Howell (KREX-5) hired me fer his NEW TV transmitter (KREY-10) in Montrose, Colo. This was in the days BEFORE internet, satalite relay. There was a gap inna the mountains at the end of Grand Mesa that I got the TV signal off'n the air and re-broadcast with some local commercials. Fun guessin' when Ch-5 was going to commercial so I could cutt-em OFF and broadcast my own. Hadd about 10-mountain towns that gott my TV signal. Room'n'board $25/week. Jackie made the BEST bread and sammishes. I'd hopp into my 1952 flathead Ford and drive up this really crooked road to the TRANSMITTER. Wore out the rear tires in less than 5000-miles. Complained to my Dad, he said his gov't car tires seldom gott 5000-miles. He was a gov't surveyor fer the Navajo Dam on the San Juan River in New Mexico (USA).
Used to go fly-fishing in the Unpompahgre River. Used to go swimming in HOT-SPRINGS at Ouray.........nostalgic Dell

Some of them only bring their noses down out of the air long enough to look down them anyway. If you are like me you are only doing this old tractor stuff because you enjoy it. You
