Ok lets start over . What is going wrong with your stable cleaner ? Is it coming off of the star gear at the top of the shoot ? Or is it coming out of the reverse turn ? The distance from one flight to the next has more to do with how well material goes up the shoot, then how worn the chain is . I keep three links of chain in between the flights. If your chain is worn/stretched , and jumps off the gear at the end of the shoot , you can solve this by putting on a over sized gear. If the chain slips out of the reverse turn , then probably the heels are worn off the bottom of the flight . Tell me what is going wrong. Bruce
