My 15 started having a bit of a chatter in the hydraulics, acted like it may be starving for oil. I pulled out the trans filter and there are several pieces of what looks like rubber material. It is around 1/4 wide and 1/16 thick and tan in color similiar to a rubber band. Pieces are mostly 1 to 1 1/2 long. I cut open the filter and nothing out of the ordinary. I put in a new filter, bled the pump, and ran it a bit and so far no chatter. I am guessing the material is possibly a seal from a hydraulic cylinder, but I have been hooked to a few implements and occasionaly I have a Du-al loader on it. None of the equipment has cylnder problems. I just had a new TA, clutch and the remote valves rebuilt last spring, hate to think I have a bunch of pieces in the system. I have never been into the trans and rearend of an IH, is there anything inside that would use this type of material, or is it most likely from a piece of equipment? Thanks for any information.
