My wife and I have been looking for a travel trailer for the last couple of months. We finally bought this one today, used a handful of times, a bit fancier than we were wanting, but a good deal. We have had a slide-in camper since 1998, but I wanted something to just hook up to and head out for a weekend or whatever....heck I might just camp in the back yard! We discontinued our produce operations this year, my wife is back in the lab 4 days a week w/ bennies...hopefully slow down a little and enjoy life's pleasures a little more this summer! It's gonna be a light load for the old Dodge....weighs just 800# more than my equipment trailer does empty!

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
