Sometimes nothing seems to go right. Had days like that. Hauled cows home couple of months ago and one was limping pretty badly but got her loaded with the rest of them. Seems to have one back leg didn't want to cooperate, like maybe a hip problem. Talked to the vet and he said she could have injured a hip, not good. After home a week or two she was down and couldn't stand. Fed and watered her for a couple weeks hoping for recovery but she just went down hill until death did us part. We had some wet icy weather while on pasture and I think she slipped and injured her hind quarter. Then in the same cow herd another one just lay down and died before I saw anything wrong. Guess I shouldn't complain as sometimes I can go years without losing a cow.
