I was thinking of parting with my post vise because of my situation but the thought crosses my mind of making a movable post vise. I thought a vertical pipe welded near the edge of a round base which I could stand on to increase stability with the mounting bracket of the post vise attached to the top of the vertical pipe. I could then mount a wheel or two on the vertical pipe just touching the floor. The vise could then be tilted back like a dolly and moved about.
