The wifey and I have been working in the garden for the last 3 days. Pulled all the mator plants, dug the spuds, pulled all the remenets of the cabage, peppers, broccoli, and squash plants, and cut all the corn stalks. All and all the garden did very well. Our pantry and freezer are full and bulging. The onions, peppers and hubbard squash didn't do real well, but the rest of our vegi crops made up for them. Took these pics Tue. and today. The leaves on the trees are about gone this afternoon. Yesterday was rainy and breezy and took most of them off the trees. We are only supposed to make it to the low 40s Sunday, and temps dropping into 20s during overnights, next week, along with posible snow in higher elevations. Winter is coming!!! Loren, The Acg.
