I must have been asleep when ever anyone posted about the 2015 Two Cylinder Expo being the last one. I can't say I am surprised. I went 4-5 years ago and it was showing signs of dying then. When you just have static displays, that you can't even touch, makes for a BORING show. A friend and I went on a Friday and the weather was perfect and there where fewer than 50 people there other than Two cylinder club members.
The tractors shown there where "better" then they where when new. I never saw a "STOCK" two banger have a $1500-2500 paint job. LOL Just old enamel paint without any thing else blown on over just about everything on the tractor. That was "factory".
There are too many TCC members that think their poo does not stink. That simple fact has made the entire JD collecting cool down. Then you add in the generational change and you have a bunch of tractors LOSSING value.
I would rather go to a show with a bunch of orphan, rigged up tractors that are being used not just being looked at.
While I like JD equipment I KNOW that JD riding the two banger craze as long as they did just about put the company out of business.
