Our company will shut us down sometimes but often leaves it at driver discretion.

Last night the Dallas meet and turn where the Dallas driver comes 1/2 way and meets our driver then turn and go back home did not run because our local drivers were scared to run it and get stuck out on the road.

Then this morning a team that runs out of Salt Lake City showed up at our terminal with the Dallas load. Truck and trailers were covered with ice from road spray.
They asked him where they wanted to go now and the driver says give me the load going back to Dallas.

Driver was telling us we would never make it in the north west since we were scared of a little snow and ice.
