I wasn't real familiar with pole barn construction either, and like you, and I didn't have the time. I hired some local Mennonites build mine. It was an easy build, 2 of them worked for 2 days, 3 worked the third day, and 4 worked about half a day on the 4th day and it was finished.
It was an easy build, but those guys made it look really easy and was super quick, well worth the money. Good luck with yours. This was the first pole barn on the farm and so far has been some of the best money I've ever spent.
