The one time I did the contact by email thing on CL was when I was looking for a cab for my Farmall 1206 (keeping it tractor related). Price was right and I found it within a few minutes of it being posted. I emailed the seller with my phone number. Within an hour of sending my # I was standing in the guys yard looking at it. He isn't computer literate and his daughter, home on leave from the Army had posted the ad for him. Funny thing is I knew the guy. My 2nd daughter and his graduated high school together!
