As you may remember, I've decided to add a Japanese mini truck to the farm for chores. Specifically winter/rainy season chores! I have found a couple on CL that fit the deal but getting people to contact back is a pain! The first was email, text or call. I texted and promptly got it back stating it was a landline. I tried calling and got the "this number is no longer in service" business. I tried three times just to make sure I wasn't messing it up. So I emailed. 10 days ago. Twice. No response. It was literally within minutes of posting and needed engine work. It was not going to sell like hot cakes.
The second is the same deal - email only. I have gotten a response from him but it usually takes two or three days to get back to me with some answers.
I farm - I get it. You have 7 round bales to feed and need to run and chop ice at every pond. However, if I put something on CL I check it daily to see if I need to respond to something. If I feel like I "have someone on the line" I check it when I get a chance multiple times a day. I guess I was raised different.
