A vaginal prolapse in a heavy bred, fat cow is not all that uncommon. If you washed and disinfected thoroughly with white vinegar or similar and it went back in ok and stayed in I don't see the rush to sell her until she raises her next calf. She may or may not prolapse again when she calves but since you have cattle handling facilities your in good shape to deal with it, if she does prolapse when she calves it would be wise to stitch her up that time, really nothing much to it, one stich is all it takes.
