For some reason I love watching firewood processing equipment on youtube. I've seen one mounted on the front of a skidsteer that allowed you to scoop up a log cut it to length and split the cut pieces dropping the split wood in a truck--all while sitting in your skidsteer.
My favorite was even put to music titled "it's automatic". Someone ran a loader loading the logs onto a chain conveyer. The machine had no operator. The logs moved into the machine, got cut to length, split, trash sorted out and finally conveyed to a truck completely automatically.
