Rick...my wife sent me a text as she was leaving work to tell me it was very congested there due to the number of reporters and such. I know a little about the parties involved...it is all heresay, but does not mean it is not true. A deputy I know tells me the shooter is from down Pinckney way. I believe the worst thing in his history was an eviction from an apartment. The portrayal of the victim in the press is starting to sound like a witch hunt. The widow has hired an attorney who is hiring a PI, but remember, this case will be handled by a prosecutor and the only thing she would hire an attorney for would be after the fact civil litigation. Seems like she jumped on that awfully quickly. You would think you would grieve and have a funeral and THEN start looking for damages.

Lastly, I have been told that the victim was a landscaper. I want to be careful how I phrase this, because I don't want to get anyone on the hook here but a couple I know who own a business not far from here tell me the victim cut the lawn of their building for a while. Various incidents of bad temper caused them to find another landscaper. The woman told us that the victim was a pretty scary guy. I did not know him myself but the facts she gave me ring true with the sort of fella who would get out of a car to give driving instructions to another driver.

Today's Featured Article - New Hitches For Your Old Tractor - by Chris Pratt. For this article, we are going to make the irrational and unlikely assumption that you purchased an older tractor that is in tip top shape and needs no immediate repairs other than an oil change and a good bath. To the newcomer planning to restore the machine, this means you have everything you need for the moment (something to sit in the shop and just look at for awhile while you read the books). To the newcomer that wants to get out and use the machine for field work, you may have already hit a major roadblock. That is the dreaded "proprietary hitch". With the exception of the ...
