Broke a spindle on the 1850 today. The hired hand said it was a bit of a shock to be on three wheels all of a sudden like...................
Upon examining the spindle, it has been broken better than half way through long enough that the break was glass smooth. I expect it was broke when I bought it a year ago. Might have been even more of a surprise if it had broke when I had a bucket of gravel up in the air...........................
That's one strong chunk of steel to go as long as it did with the loads I've been putting on it loading gravel. Must mean I not abusing it while loading anyway.
