My zebra 15 mile fence charger quit yesterday and need something to replace it
Did a wonderful job at keeping the critters out of the garden
Didn't give it much thought back the but several months ago a Deere jumped the fence. Bent the top rail and hit the charged wire and hasn't come back. No tracks near the field
So for the new charger I want to get one that can handle another higher wire (probably tape so they can see it) and strong enough to give them a good shock to keep them away
I currently have a 3' fence made of hardware cloth (rat wire) burried so they can't dig under with 1/2 electrical conduit around the top to support a single charged.. Hooked the ground to the cloth and a ground spike. Worked real well for the past 3 years until the charger won't shock anymore. No fuses sealed zebra unit
