Unfortunately I already took it apart.
Looks like their was some corrosion on the circuit board where the hot and ground terminal bolts start and progress through the case.
Unit was clicking and light was flashing so I think it was a corrosion issue at the bolt to circuit board connection. Transformer inside was also a little rusty.
For $60 I might just replace it with a Zebra A15. Specs say it has an unloaded voltage of 9,000.
The charts suggest 5,000 to keep the deere out.
Are the Gallager's better then the Zebra and what do they go for. It's a large garden - half an acre so cost is a big consideration
