Finally got my cockshutt 570 going. When it first started it had 28 psi of oil pressure at an idle. Had a little blue smoke like the one pic. After it got warmed up it started smoking like the other pic. Not all the time, but it'd blow smoke like that for a second then back to blue. Oil pressure dropped to 8 psi at an idle and 20 psi at higher rpms. I think the book says it should be at 30+. On a higher note, the transmission and steering seemed tight and quiet. Never drove one with this shift pattern before. That'll take some getting used to. Where have you guys had good experiences with Hercules parts? Probably be shipping this thing off to my favorite mechanic this winter.
