My post office is now open from 8Am to 12PM. next closeest PO is 7:30Am to 11:30AM
Saturdays they are open 1 hr. No grocery store here.
Post office are needed in all towns. They are need worse than a grocery store. I;m in the post office five days a week mailing boxes. I could not afford to drive 14 miles one way to the next town to mail a $3.00 first class package.
The postal service is in the hole because off all there stupid regulations and policies. Twenty years a go. The key to the back door of the Post office was lost. It was never found. Now, The big wigs at the PO want to know what happened to that key. They are sending an inspector down to search the building for the missing key. All employees that worked here then are now retired and gone. What's the point of searching for a missing key now! MONEY WASTED!!
The postal service is trying to close all rural post offices by shortening the workers hours forcing them to quit and look for other work. My post master get $40 a day with no insurance.
How much $$$ could be saved by the postal service if they stop paying employees for not working on legal holidays??
