Lou, try to keep your BS below 200 and you will heal faster. I know some drs want you at 100 but that is impossible. My drs that I have gone to over the years always said that when gluclose attaches to the blood that it streaches the veins and arteries. They do not pump as well because continual expansion takes out the elasticity. Go luck with the eyes.
