I"m glad it worked out in your favor.as it should have. I have had my own share of grief with these gas robbers who take the high ground and coerce the home owner with their tactics. What surprises me even more is the number of sheeple who agree with the gas suppliers...disgusting!
I went so far as to contact my local state representative and she did some research and found that here in KY, the propane suppliers and few others are not governed by the Public Service Commission, which means they are free to do as they please, unlike natural gas and electric utilities. This why these propane suppliers can get by with charging "minimum use" fees. Which is nothing short of extortion. When I asked the crooks how they"d feel if Kroger"s called them in the spring and said they were sending bill because they hadn"t bought enough groceries, how they"d react? All you get is a smug, "read the fine print" reply. Gangsters use the same ruse.....it"s called protection money.
