If any of you have a Hartford home owners policy, I highly suggest you reread it very carefully. We've had our policy for well over 10 years with them thru AARP and have never filed a claim with them. This week, a young lady stole all of my wifes rings and necklaces. Some of them were worth well over a thousand each. She also stole $1,000.00 in cash along with my grand daughters bank card and cleaned out her account. Our policy (we were told) is for 100% replacement, however that does not cover any moneys lost regardless of the way it was lost (by fire or theft, that covered amount only is 20% and the amount covered for her jewelery is a max. of 2500.00. The amount we figured everything was worth is well over 8 thousand. Loks like we'll be looking for a new company this year. Just my thoughts, Keith
