Please explain what order Classic keeps threads in as I fail to see this order you speak of? I'll state that which view that one utilizes is the one that the user is more familiar with.
On Modern the threads that have most recently been replied to move to the top of the page similar to "cream on whole milk" while on Classic a recently replied thread may be 3 or 4 or more pages back. Also on Modern the last person to reply to a thread will be the last entry and this is not so on Classic.
