Well, IF the Government were not drawing millions (Billions?) from the USPS (Hidden Tax) to supplement the Government, they would not need an increase for a long time..
Then, the lack of common sense of raising the postage in a small increment, with all the costs of printing everything on in the new denomination..coupled with the usual "ODD-Cent", that requires thousands of Man-Hours just counting pennies.. I feel for the Rural mail Carriers, only getting paid for 87% of the mail they carry, while the Higher-ups get a fat paycheck for coming up with these stupid decisions. If it were not for "Management", the USPS would be a decent place to work..
