It has always seemed that a falling barometer will cause births in cattle. Since most low pressure systems are rain or snow that is why it seems to make calving tough at times.
So have any of you heard of any studies that explain why a falling barometric pressure would trigger births???
IF it does would that not have evolved out of cattle??? It would effect birth survival rates. So if Darwin was correct, then the calves born in fair weather would have a better change of survival. So then the calves born because of a low pressure system would be come a minority over time.
