They make a good many PTO type Generators that are to be used with the common older 545 RPM PTOs so yes it can run one but the HP limits the KW you can handle. Many times I wish the generator I have was a PTO type instead of having its own engine on it that way I know I would have something to power it with out messing with trying to get it up and running again. Have not run this 6.5KW generator since 2007 so bet it would not be easy to make run
