here's a good one. Buy a version of a pickup that has similar wiring of the other versions but isn't as popular so not so many sold as the other. Have a part go bad on the unpopular vehicle that has a recall on the popular version. Call your friendly dealer to see about getting it fixed and be told that since not enough were sold there is not a recall on that part for that particular model. find out dealer wants 75.00 to just check part but that would be included in the 150.00 to fix it. Go on line and order part for 35.00. find video showing how to change and 10 minutes later have it fixed. Never buy from said manufacturer again. Oh yea did i forget to say chevy? why are recalls by part number and not vehicle?
